This is a one-word generic dictionary .org search term domain name for a home furnishing product that was purchased in a Snapnames auction for $60 in 2007. Its keyword gets 370,000 monthly searches according to the Google Keyword Tool. It was parked at Parked.com for two years before being developed using the Rapid Web Site, Image Gallery, and Discussion Forum guidebooks in early 2009.
Before Beyond Domaining, it wasn't even covering its annual registration renewal fees.
(Which is doubly ironic because it is a good enough name that Parked.com determined it to be a ‘One-Click Domain’ – which means visitors go straight to the ads page – without having to navigate the landing links.)
But the revenue was heart-breakingly disappointing. From August 2008 through December 2008 – five full months – it only generated $1.48 in revenue at Parked.com with an average RPC of $0.12. That’s pathetic. Especially for a shopping term during the Thanksgiving / Christmas Holiday Shopping Season.

With the Rapid Web Site guidebook, this domain name made more in one day in February 2009 than during the last five months of 2008 at Parked.com.

The owner was so pleased with the results that he decided to re-launch the site in October 2009 using the Beyond Domaining Image Gallery and Discussion Forum guidebooks.

What did take some time was collecting the images to be uploaded into the image gallery and to 'seed' the forum with discussion topics and threads.
